Find Your Calm: A Simple 5-step Guided Meditation
In today’s fast-paced world, finding a moment of calm can feel like a luxury. But what if you could reset your mind and body in just a few minutes?
Whether you’re new to meditation or a seasoned practitioner, this short guided practice is perfect for grounding yourself anytime, anywhere.
In The Guided Meditation Below, We Will Explore:
Find Your Seat
Sit comfortably on the support of props on the floor Or if you can’t get to the floor in a chair You can rest your hands on your knees or in your lap. Close your eyes, or keep them softly focused on a point in front of you.
Focus on Your Breath
How much can you feel your breath right now?
Gently shift your focus to your natural breathing. Feel the air entering your nostrils, filling your lungs, and leaving your body. If your mind wanders, that’s okay. Just guide your attention back to your breath.
How much can you feel your breath right now?
Relax. How Much More Can You Relax Right Now?
Scan your body and notice areas of tension or tightness and invite them to let go.
Feel Your Body
Bring your attention to your body. Notice where you’re sitting—how the chair or ground supports you. If you feel any tension, imagine sending your breath to those areas, softening them with each exhale.
Watch
What are you noticing right now, invoke a sense of spacious awareness, like a wide open sky.
Allow
Can you allow your experience to be exactly what it is without needing to add or change things?
Return Gently
When you’re ready, slowly bring your hand to your heart. Take one last deep breath and open your eyes. Notice how you feel—a little lighter, calmer, and more centred.
Why This Works
Even a brief meditation can reduce stress, improve focus, and help you reconnect with the present moment. When you take a few minutes to breathe and reflect, you give your mind and body the reset they need to handle the rest of the day.
Your Turn: Let’s begin. Try this meditation today—right now if you can! Then, let me know in the comments how it felt.

Thanks so much.
Do you have yin yoga Nidra scripts?
nyk.danu
I have Yoga Nidra practices recorded for use, but I don’t offer my scripts to other teachers if that’s what you mean.
