Private Therapeutic Yoga Sessions
Private Therapeutic Yoga might be a good fit if:
* You have some issues, injuries or medical conditions that need to be addressed so you need a Yoga Program created just for you. A completely custom practice to your needs, your injuries, your health concerns, your goals.
* You want to try Yoga but you are totally intimated. Maybe you have Back Pain and other injuries or aren’t flexible. Or you just know that learning physical things (whether it be sports or dance) hasn’t really been your strong suit and you need a bit of extra time and help to feel like you ‘get it’.
* Maybe you’ve been practicing Yoga for a while and you have a serious crush on Yoga. You would love to practice more often, maybe a few times a week or even every day. You dream of having a home practice but are totally intimidated by the what, when, where and how of sequencing your own practice.
* You work shift work or travel a lot and can’t seem to find classes that fit your schedule.
* You need some serious ‘you time’, you give a lot to others. You often feel drained, stressed and over committed. You need some regularly scheduled time to let someone take care of you for a change so you can recharge and reboot.
I work with people who have Back Pain or Anxiety. Having experienced Back Pain and Anxiety on and off throughout my life, I have a lot to offer in this area, not only from my extensive training but personal experience as well.
Yoga Therapy is a holistic approach to healing and wellbeing. So please know that we will never work only your Back Pain or Anxiety. Other concerns like sleep, digestion ect. will be addressed as well.
We will work with the whole of you body, mind, and spirit.
How This Works
All Private Therapeutic Yoga sessions are held on Zoom.
Once you have had a chance to look at this Private Yoga Therapy packages below and are ready to start, you can email me via my contact page.
From there we can set up a time to meet for 20 min complimentary consultation on zoom. If we decide to work together, you will be able to book your sessions.
All of my offerings are sold in packages of three or five depending on the program whether or not we have worked together in the past. You can see the details of each particular package by clicking the (+) to see the details.

Private Yoga Therapy Sessions For Back Pain
Back Pain? I’ve got your back! Experience the benefits of Therapeutic Yoga with a focus on the back, neck, and shoulders. Whether you sit at a desk all day or are generally sore and tight, this is for you. Special attention will be given to stretching and strengthening all the muscles that support the back including the core.
In this practice, we will use a combination of moving shapes (Yang) to increase circulation and build strength and Therapeutic (Yin) the practice of relaxed floor-based shapes using the support of props when needed for three to five minutes at a time. Yin yoga postures gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints, allowing us to maintain and restore joint and muscle flexibility. The use of Yoga Therapy Balls may also be introduced to learn self-massage techniques to work out those annoying chronic tight spot and knots.
Breathing exercises, Meditation, and relaxation techniques are used to aid the mind/body in letting go of excess tension and promote healing.
Please note: This program is not suitable for persons with acute injuries or severe Scoliosis.

In this deeply nourishing practice, you just lay back and prepare to relax, I do all the work for you.
In this program, I combine Tui Na (Chinese bodywork, like tapping and acupressure) with hands-on Yoga to stretch you out Yin Style. I support and hold you in the position so you can completely relax and let go!
Yin Yoga, based on concepts of Taoist Yoga, emphasizes the connective tissues and fascia It is characterized by the relaxed practice of using support for three to five minutes at a time. Yin Yoga postures gently stretch and rehabilitate the connective tissues that form our joints, allowing us to maintain and restore joint and muscle flexibility.
Tui Na helps to relieve blockages, remove deficiencies, and correct imbalances in the flow of energy in the meridians. Tui Na helps to increase Qi in the body, decrease muscle toxins, and improve overall circulation and flexibility.
