Slow Hands-A Guided Meditation

Slow Hands: A Guided Meditation for Subtle Energy Awareness

Welcome to your guided meditation: Slow Hands.

This is not a practice of doing, but of noticing. In our fast-paced lives, it’s easy to move from moment to moment without ever really feeling the body we’re living in. Slow Hands invites you to pause, to attune, and to remember the quiet language of your own energy.

Most of us move through the world unaware of the subtle aliveness always present in the body — the gentle hum beneath our thoughts, the quiet current beneath our actions. This practice is designed to help you begin to feel that energy — not as a concept, but as a direct experience.

Why “Slow Hands”?

Our hands are incredibly sensitive and expressive. They’re the parts of us that reach out, receive, create, and connect. By moving the hands slowly, with full attention, we activate the energy field around and within them. This becomes a doorway to sensing the rest of the body’s energy.

As you move your hands with intention and stillness, you may begin to feel tingling, warmth, spaciousness, or even waves of sensation. This is your energy field responding to your awareness.

What to Expect

This is a quiet, inward practice. you only need a few min, presence, and curiosity.

As you repeat this practice over time, your sensitivity will grow. Eventually, you may find that you no longer need the movements at all — your awareness alone will be enough to connect you to your energy body.

Practice tip: Try this meditation before bed, or at the beginning of your day, as a way to reconnect to yourself and soften the nervous system.

Are you ready to begin?

Close your eyes. Take a breath.
And let your hands lead you inward.
