If you are new to Yoga Nidra You are in for a real treat!
Yoga Nidra is an invitation into profound rest.
A rest that is not earned, but remembered.
As the body softens, the nervous system is given permission to settle.
Layers of holding begin to unwind, not through effort, but through awareness.
In this state between waking and sleep, the mind loosens its grip.
Thoughts quiet. Time stretches.
A deeper rhythm emerges beneath the noise of the day.
Yoga Nidra offers a place to meet yourself without needing to fix or change anything.
Sensations, emotions, and thoughts are witnessed as they arise and pass, held in spacious attention.
Over time, this practice can restore depleted energy, support more restful sleep,
and cultivate a steady inner refuge one you can return to again and again.
Yoga Nidra reminds us that stillness is not empty.
It is alive, nourishing, and deeply supportive.
Softening Into Stillness with Yoga Nidra
In this Yoga Nidra practice, I guide you to get as comfortable as possible whether that’s in bed or on the floor with plenty of props.
The focus is on softening into stillness, tuning into your body, and noticing the sensations where you’re supported and where you’re not.
We take a few deep, clearing breaths, set an intention to soften, and move through a gentle body scan from head to toe.
The practice ends with gratitude for taking this time to rest and recharge, reminding you to move slowly and thank yourself for making space for stillness in your day
Enjoy!
