Yin Yoga For An Open Heart
If you are new to the practice of Yin Yoga. I recommend starting with my post, Yin Yoga For Beginners.
This is an intermediate practice so previous Yin Yoga experience is recommended.
Most of us spend a fair bit of time seated and unaware of our posture. So we tend to be pretty good at slouching but not so good at sitting tall and having an open heart.
Yin Yoga is especially good at opening persistently tight fascia and muscles. This is due to the time spent in the poses and the stillness of this practice.
Using this Yin Yoga For an Open Heart Practice a few times a week will do wonders for your posture, mood and energy levels.
Some of my favorite Yin Yoga poses are in this practice.
You will need some Yoga Blocks, which are readily available pretty much anywhere, pretty inexpensive and, will last for years and years, a Yoga Bolster and a blanket or two for this practice.

In this practice, I will walk you through a sweet Yin Yoga Practice and a Guided Heart Meditation to open not only your physical heart center but also your metaphysical heart leaving you more in touch with your natural state of joy and compassion.
